Responsible travel

As a wholly Tanzanian owned and operated safari company, Kilidove Tours has a strong commitment to help communities benefit from tourism. This extends beyond hiring Tanzanians in all operational and guiding positions.

Our Community Projects:

KILIDOVE FOUNDATION

This project started with the intention to give support and help families and their kids which are not capable of offering a quality education or families that cannot afford to pay uniforms or health insurance for their children. Our staff give a contribution of 5USD per month per child to help them with school expenses and health insurance. This project is now helping around 15 families in Arusha. The idea is to reach as many families as possible. If you want to be part of this great idea please reach us

TULEENI Orphans Home

An incredible organization based out of Moshi an outskirt on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro with more than 120 children run by a Tanzanian woman "Mama Faraji" with a lot of sucessful stories behind. This orphanage of more than 120 children, from 3 months to 15 years old, began in the home of “Mama Faraji” who is the founder of the center nearly 20 years ago. Its mission holds to the belief that every child needs care, love, peace, respect, education, and all daily social requirements met. The word Tuleeni is a Swahili word which means “please care for us.” If you are traveling with us, please consider “packing for a purpose” by bringing anything that can be useful for the children from clothing to school supplies and toys. If you would prefer not to travel with items to donate cash donations are also welcomed at the organzation
